Saving is different for everyone. On behalf of VICE, I spoke with a group of young people to explore what works for each individual––from those with clear goals, to those who go with the flow.
Financial stress is a killer. Money, as a concept, sometimes feels like a toxic relationship; we don’t want to want it so much but we do. Sometimes, more often than we’d like to admit, we need it. Living a busy life, working jobs to fund your passion, feeling exhausted and in constant need of rewards can become a vicious cycle of spending, that creeps up on you as habits that are seriously hard to break.
We spoke to four hard-working people, with completely different lifestyles and priorities, to help gain some insights into the different ways to tackle the nagging doom of “never enough money”.
